The Rosenfeld Palace is a new centre for culture in Žilina intended to organise cultural and educational activities for the public. It was originally built in 1907 by Ignác Rosenfeld to be the headquarters of his bank and his own home.
In Žilina you can visit three galleries – Považská Gallery of Arts in Žilina, M-Gallery and Plusminuszero gallery (± 0,0 Gallery). Považská Gallery of Arts in Žilina rooms contain a permanent exhibition of works by Vincent Hložník. M-Gallery deals with artworks sale in a substantial extent. Plusminuszero gallery (± 0,0 Gallery) is presenting today´s visual culture.
In Žilina, there are three museums. Považská Gallery of Arts in Žilina has detached expositions of regional character, together with tinker´s craft collection, Museum of Jewish culture with exhibition of Judaic collection and the first private museum exhibition ''Lombardini´s house''.
