The Chrasť Forest Park
The Chrasť Forest Park is located between the suburbs of Vlčince and Solinky. The park provides a choice of different sporting activities (running, cross–country skiing, cycling, nordic walking). Children can enjoy jungle gyms, a big castle and other attractions.
Rope park Preles
The Rope Park Preles is located in Žilina, in the Chrasť Forest Park, operated by Civic Association Preles. The Rope Park consists of low and high tour and a huge swaying – so called courage to jump.
Ranch in Brodno
Recreational and leisure facility Ranch in Brodno offers many attractions for families with children. Children as well as their parents can experience a pleasant horse riding, wagon sightseeing tour; play tennis, badminton or football tennis. For children, there are prepared swings, marry-go-round, quadricycle ride and minizoo.
Parent centres
In Žilina, there are three parent centres that offer space for parents and preschool age children. Parent centre Levík, parent centre Nezábudka and parent centre Žabka. They offer different activities – workshops, exercise, children´s clinics, playrooms and others.
